North Star Knights Uniforms

Beginning with the 25-26 school year, North Middle School will be piloting a school uniform policy. Research has shown that school uniforms help students to focus on learning, increase a culture of belonging, reduce peer pressure, provide fewer distractions and lessen expenses for parents. As a result, our School Committee and School Improvement Council have decided to implement student uniforms for the 2025-2026 school year. Uniforms will be highly encouraged during this pilot year.

 

The North Middle School colors are purple and gray. Our uniform is a collared purple or gray shirt with black or tan pants, shorts or skirts, and black or white sneakers or shoes. The clothing items must be plain without images and/or print. You may purchase uniforms at any local retail store such as Old Navy, Children’s Place, Amazon, Walmart, or Target. On days that your child has physical education class, purple or gray t-shirts and gray or black sweatpants/shorts will be worn.
